I enjoyed it & I guess on a personal note it reminded me of the truth behind those sort of situations
and that in and off itself was probably what gets me all worked up
but again sister... you should grow your craft because you do have something special bout your written voice.
and TRUST me i dont say that lightly
you know what sister... i try to stay positive because (as you can see by me wanting to run over the 5-0 lol)
I can have a mean streak its actually way more in my nature than I give heed to
On the board its some stuff that I dont respond to because I really cant find even the faintest reason to do so
other pieces arent the greatest format but good content
other pieces I reply to the person because I respect the person but (you might notice sister) I usually respond to the person bout them not their writing lol

If you met yourself, would you want to stick around and talk? Are you the kind of person others can be proud of? Hopefully you are, because that's who will be with you for your entire life. Your values and beliefs create a pretty good picture of what you want to see in the mirror. To be proud of yourself, do everything you can to make real life look like that vision. Find people that have the qualities you want and learn from them. Becoming a person you like gives you the confidence that you're someone worth being friends with. There's also a flip side to the friendship coin--you also need to cut yourself as much slack as you do your friends. You have friends because you see the good in them, not the flaws. You like them the way they are, warts and all. You enjoy their company and root for them to be happy and do their best. Look at yourself the same way. To be a good friend to yourself, accept your blemishes, while still pushing yourself to reach your full potential. Don't harp on your...

I was blessed to rise to the glory of God’s wonderful sunshine peeking through my blinds and the chirping melodies of birds outside my window. An amazing start to a promising day, no doubt. I’ve been blessed to receive another day and it is my responsibility to make it as positive and rewarding as possible. I plan to begin each day with enthusiasm and promise, so I may end each day with the contentment that I exist to live and I‘m doing it well! Life is good and I love it!

The approach of each new year means three important events for me to celebrate. The first and most important, I lived to ring in a new year. (another chance to make and probably break resolutions) The second, January 7, tomorrow is my birthday. Of course its important because its the day I was born, but I don’t get all caught up into the celebration of it the way I did in my younger years. The last event, the anniversary of a smoke-free life! January 11, will be seven years I’ve been cigarette free! I had a very difficult time kicking that habit. I LOVED TO SMOKE! However, after my body, house and car was cleansed of the smell and damage from smoking, I realized what a NASTY DIRTY habit it was. I thank God for deliverance!

My first love was an only child. He was best friends with one of my older brothers. My immediate family consist of nine, my parents, five brothers, one sister and me of course. So there was always something fun an exciting going on in our house. When school was canceled due to heavy snow or frigid temperatures, after our mother held classes we would have as much fun inside as we did outside. We would play hide-n-go-seek, board games and games we simply made up.
Although shut in days were lots of fun for me and my siblings, they were the opposite for my first love, he dreaded those days. He shared his sad moments with me about how long and boring his days home alone were. My heart ached as I tried to comfort him and secretly I swore to myself when I got married I would have more than one child.
What made me reflect on this particular memory after all these years? Well, my cousin’s father died a few days ago and he is an only child too. Once again my heart...

Today was a beautiful and wonderful day! The temperature was in the seventies and I was all over Raleigh with my mother. I love living here! I met and talked with so many nice people. Life is good! We can spend precious time thinking or complaining about the not so terrific things that may be going on in our lives, but how much better does it feel to focus on the terrific things going on in our lives? The first and most important, being blessed to experience the possibilities of another day. To hear a hello, see a smile, to give a hug or receive one.
I was parked a long side another car, as I was getting out of my car an older man was also getting out of his. He said, “hi there how are you today?” I smiled and said, “fine, how are you?” He made reference to my smile being beautiful and I could see from the expression on his face how it affected him. Such simple gestures like saying hello and a smile can warm a heart! Smile and say hello to someone… it does the body good!...
