Black People : Black sounding names.

My cousin said he's going to name his kids white names. He says black sounding names will hurt chances of getting jobs. He said it makes white people think we don't like them, because we choose not to have names like them.

I never thought about this, but why are names so different between blacks and whites? I just go by how a name sounds nothing else. If a white racist was looking through resumes he could know ones that were black, because of the names. At least if the name sounds white and you get called for an interview he'd have to waste his racist time interviewing you.
