WOW!....I hadn't known this.

So glad the Sister is recovering.

I wonder if this will affect her future playing...will she have to "retire" from tennis? :?:

I hope not....but her life and health is more important than the game.

Even if so, she is a young woman with many other assets/skills. She can solely concentrate on other pursuits if necessary.

.......Believe it or not Chervron, several years ago I had the exact same thing, a pulmonary embolism from a deep vein thrombosis(DVT) in my whole right leg. And everything said about it is truth. People die in the hospital from this, the blood pools forming clots. There were several clots in my lungs, and it took 3 months before I was released. Anyone that recovers escapes death, its just that simple. Afterwords, Doctors were puzzled in not being able to find the cause. And I thank God to be able to finish out my carrier as a postal carrier(some walking too), in good health...Thanks and no thanks :), for posting this, if you know what I mean, lol...Peace In my sister friend.

I'm glad you made it too, Brother Clyde!

Yep, a clot is what killed my mother while in the hospital.

I think they were incorrectly treating her for something else because they had incorrectly diagnosed her.

By the time they "discovered" it, it was too late.

Again, I'm glad you "lived to tell the story," Brother Clyde! :toast:

.......So sorry to hear that about your Mother sister cherryblossom, you know this. Here's a short True story, most of my friends are pastors, and they told me God was pressing out the book: Does Color Matter? And sister, you better believe me, as soon as I was released, I begin closure on the manuscript(I had been procrastinating), for real; it scared me to death, nearly. The strangest thing because I've always been in good shape and health, no maladies at all nor medications; but they could not determine how I contracted PE, after months of testing my blood, etc...Peace In my sister friend, you have my deepest sympathy  over the lost of your Mother.
