The Lord above forgave us all for every offense
great or small and shed His blood
for Crips and Bloods
God's way of
showing
Love

Have you ever wanted a pound of flesh
to even the score to cover a debt
make them pay and regret
the way they treated you?

Did you ever ask for an assist
only to be rudely dissed
burst with pride ~
before a fall
some devil
hogging
the ball?

Could you allow your spirit to soar
crash the board serving the Lord
ILL afford to ignore...
a Soulful knock
at the door?

I felt my jaw tense at the wording after "regret" and into the third stanza....I guess any transgression leading me to that state would not in my mind equate a ball hog...Last stanza gets better, but I don't feel it reaches back up to the strength of the first stanzas.
