Black Poetry : REQUEST FOR POEMS AND PRAYERS FOR RAVEN MY 7YEAR OLD GRANDAUGHTER WITH LEUKEMIA

HELLO FAMILY!
You will note that I have been missing...
But it was for no other reason than my
baby is fighting for her life once again.
I ask you as my fellow scribes and I
plead with you as my friends.
I want poems and prayers penned
for Raven if it's not to much to ask...
something that is heartfelt and something
that will last. And if for God's reason the
worse should come to pass...her prayers
and poems will be read at her homegoing
this is what her Mom and Dad have asked.
You see they hear me speaking often of
this place where I shed my sorrows and
share my joy...and I know you won't
disappoint me...I know that you will
flow!
So as always I must say what a blessing
you are to me...somewhere I can lose
myself and somewhere that I feel free!
Do this for me Destee...for Raven and
for me...
*She has a 40% chance of survival.
We are preparing for bone marrow
and brain stem cell transplant...so you
know it is dire...the stem cell is relatively
new! But, I am trusting in God and leaning
on him and you!
