as I write and will continue
until you bring us an update
of "good news" by faith.

and promises to make
she has secrets to share
and people who care
dances to attend
and hearts to break and mend
its too soon to take our free spirited Raven
she is the center of my haven
not too often does she get down
always there to turn upsidedown others frowns
holding her head high
with no fear in her eyes
another day in the life of her
please let this surgery be the cure
let my Raven be childish and free
let me be selfish if i must, do this for me
do this for her entire family
i know you will hold onto her wings
as we sit anxiously worrying
